Falling off theFace of the Planet

Whew, its been about 3 months or so since my last post. When I left you I was studying voraciously for my FE test. Good news, I PASSED!!! Whew talk about a load off of my shoulders. I have done some knitting - you know hats, scarves, and other easy Christmas gifts. I don't have pictures unfortunately since all of the recipients have them...SORRY!

In other news I've met someone new, we'll call him Kay. Like Men in Black. I guess that would make me Elle (Nightmarish flashes of pink and blondes run through my mind). Regardless things are going well in the Geoknitter realm. My apartment is slowly being pieced together bit by bit, and I am finally organizing my yarn stash.

I'm currently knitting a lapghan with a random skein of Cascade Eco-wool in 8017 (the impossible shade to find apparenlty) and that is basically the only new item in my WIPs pile.

I've also been fooling around with random internet things so I will leave you with my Daemon creation from the Golden Compass website:

I'm assuming it shows up!

For New Years I went to Baltimore/Annapolis to hang out with some of my best friends in college. I love my fellow female enginnerds. Anyways, I'll leave you with a picture from Halloween and let you decide how I've been spending my free time! (This is a pic of my Raleigh posse hanging out in Chapel Hill...and yes I was a tavern wench for Halloween)

Until next time! Live, Laugh, and Love!
